Information we collect

When you submit a demo, we collect the artist or producer name, email, country or city, track title, private music links, optional uploaded file links and metadata, genre, BPM/key, release status, notes, and rights/privacy confirmations. When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email, subject, and message.

How we use it

We use submission data to listen to demos, evaluate fit for Hotpot Records, keep internal A&R notes, respond to contact messages, and contact you if there is a relevant release conversation.

Storage and access

Submissions may be routed to email, Cloudflare R2 file storage, and a private spreadsheet used by the label team. Access is limited to people reviewing demos for Hotpot Records.

Rights

Submitting a demo does not transfer ownership or rights to Hotpot Records. Any release would require a separate written agreement.

Retention

Demo submissions and contact messages may be kept for internal reference. You can request deletion by contacting demo@hotpot-records.com or contact@hotpot-records.com.
